Tabiji Academy Inc. ("Tabiji Academy", "we", "us", or "our") operates the website tabijiacademy.com and provides online Japanese language lessons. • Name, email address, phone number (if provided), and the lesson time you choose when you book a lesson
• Payment details when you pay for a lesson or package. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number
• Name, email address, and message content when you use our contact form
• Name and email address when you subscribe to our newsletter or request a free resource
• Your answers, results, and email address if you take our level quiz or assessment
• Resume and professional information if you apply for a teaching position

Information Collected Automatically

• IP address, browser type, device type, and operating system
• Pages visited, time spent on pages, and the website or advertisement that referred you
• Cookies and similar technologies, as described in section 4

2. How We Use Your Information

• To schedule, deliver, and manage your lessons

• Resend — sending booking, newsletter, and account emails
• Hostinger — website hosting
• Our video-conferencing provider — delivering your online lessons
• Amelia — our booking software, which runs on our own website server

Some of these providers store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States. When that happens, your information is subject to the laws of that country and may be accessible to its courts, law-enforcement, and national-security authorities. Each provider has its own privacy policy governing how it handles your information.

4. Cookies and Advertising

We use three kinds of cookies and similar technologies:

• Essential cookies — keep the website secure, working, and fast (for example, booking and caching cookies)
• Analytics cookies — Google Analytics records which pages are visited and how visitors arrive, so we can improve the website

• Booking and lesson records: up to 24 months after your last lesson
• Payment records: as long as tax and accounting laws require
