- Native Japanese speaker
- Bachelor's degree (language, education, or related field preferred)
- Japanese language teaching certification (420-hour training course or equivalent)
- 2+ years of Japanese language teaching experience
- Fluent in English (teaching is bilingual)
- Must reside in North or South America
- Reliable internet and a quiet teaching environment
Preferred
- Experience with JLPT preparation or business Japanese
- Familiarity with online teaching platforms (Zoom, Google Meet)
- Experience living or working outside Japan
