  • Native Japanese speaker
  • Bachelor's degree (language, education, or related field preferred)
  • Japanese language teaching certification (420-hour training course or equivalent)
  • 2+ years of Japanese language teaching experience
  • Fluent in English (teaching is bilingual)
  • Must reside in North or South America
  • Reliable internet and a quiet teaching environment

Preferred

  • Experience with JLPT preparation or business Japanese
  • Familiarity with online teaching platforms (Zoom, Google Meet)
  • Experience living or working outside Japan
